Job Overview:

The Content Strategist is responsible for developing content strategy based on the company's or client's objectives and the end user's needs. This role involves overseeing content requirements, creating content strategy deliverables across a project lifecycle, and managing content creation, delivery, and governance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Develop content strategy aligned with clients' brand voice for short-term and long-term marketing targets.

- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop content, style, and layout.

- Create engaging content.

- Edit, proofread, and improve copywriters’ posts based on content strategy.

- Optimize content according to SEO.

- Collaborate with the Analytics Manager to analyze metrics, KPIs, and website traffic.

- Optimize hashtags, reach, impressions, and user engagement.

- Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.

- Develop an editorial calendar and ensure the content team is on board.

- Stay up-to-date with developments, trends, hashtags, algorithms, and generate new ideas to draw the audience’s attention.


- Proven work experience as a Content Strategist, Content Manager, or similar role.

- Experience in developing and implementing content strategies.

- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Strong research skills and attention to detail.

- Good organizational and time-management skills.

- Knowledge of Content Management Systems, like WordPress.

- Familiarity with SEO and keyword research tools (e.g., Moz and Google Keyword Planner).

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or relevant field.
